The Account Executive is an outside sales position responsible for acquiring new voice and data customers.
- Develop new business relationships with targeted leads provided by Broadview
- Prospect targeted leads to set appointments to present products and services with a strong emphasis on Hosted/Cloud based products
- Obtain signed service contracts from new customers in an effort to meet and/or exceed all quotas
- Manage and maintain CRM database for all prospect information to 100% accuracy
- Provide customer satisfaction and retention support as needed to maintain existing client relationships sold by Account Executive
- Provide management with accurate forecast, funnel and all additional required activity/sales metrics
- Up-sell existing customer base with new products and/or technologies
- Attend weekly meetings, trainings and coaching sessions with Sales Director and/or Regional Director
- One of the major challenges in this role is getting through all the gatekeepers at customer sites and getting to meet with the decision maker. An Account Executive will also need to be able to handle rejection from their prospects.
