A global medical device company located in Irvine, CA is seeking a full time Department Coordinator to join the team. The Irvine Quality Laboratories Department Coordinator position supports the Microbiology, Biology, and Chemistry labs by managing the day to day administrative functions in order to better serve our customers, including receiving samples. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with business professionals, preferably in a global corporation. The Department Coordinator's
role requires a proactive, self-starter who possesses multi-tasking and communication skills.
This position will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support to include:
Receive routine, ad-hoc, and EQL samples for all three laboratories
Data Entry into systems
Assist business partners with organization information and/or administrative needs
Maintain departmental files/records
Submit monthly expense reports for department purchases and staff expenses
