"DAS RF Engineer wanted by a wireless & broadcast communications system provider in Cary, NC. Design, develop, test, implement and deploy radio frequency (RF) distributed antenna systems (DAS) networks; create and prepare DAS technical drawings and designs using RF propagation tools (iBwave/Atoll) and principles, RF test equipment such as TEMS, Spectrum Analyzers and Scanners. Evaluate RF and conduct DAS feasibility studies; perform network design, planning and completion of RF testing, DAS commissioning and customer integration activities; perform system testing utilizing scanners, spectrum analyzers, power meters, optical test equipment and other testing tools; troubleshoot faults, alarms and performance degradation in cooperation with customer and construction resources; analyze and summarize design test data to evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs); prepare and submit testing reports, close-out packages and Final Acceptance documentation, compile and maintain all project documentation in accordance with policies and procedures. Coordinate, plan and oversee Continuous Wave (CW) testing and Benchmarks. Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Engineering Technology plus 3 years of experience in job offered using iBwave, High Orbit Workflow, Polaris, TEMS, Spectrum Analyzers and Benchmark Scanners.
