Sabre is currently recruiting for a Software Configuration Manager to work in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will provide support to the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Tactical Mission and Acoustic Software Development teams. Support includes Software Configuration Management (SCM), SCM Tool implementation and administration, script writing/editing, software development/CM work flow process creation and Integration Build creation. The candidate will create unclassified and classified software integration and system test builds in a UNIX/Linux environment. Work with developers to produce software baselines. The candidate will be tasked with using Telelogic software to accurately track and record data and software builds in accordance with CMM level 4 standards resulting in 100% operational compliance and streamlined fleet support.
The SCM team is responsible for integrating software code and script changes into SCM builds. These builds are tracked outside of the development cycle and used to create the SCM release build. These code and functionality changes are tracked via SCM GUI tools. The SCM team is responsible for integrating, compiling, and tracking source changes as well as script updates and version/baseline control of releases. Upon completion, the SCM build will then be tested by the developers in the Development Test (DT) phase. Once tested by DT, the SCM build is given to Integration Test (IT).
3+ years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 10 years experience with a High School diploma.
Demonstrated program experience in the configuration management process must include: configuration identification, control, audit, and status; DOD configuration management policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards; engineering change proposal evaluations; and Operational and Safety Improvement Program (OSIP) procedures. Demonstrated experience with aircraft and system avionics, subsystems, ancillary equipment, and ground support equipment development, testing, production, and operational use.
Candidate must have a current Secret Clearance. Candidates will be required to pass a background check for this position.
