DCS Corporation is currently seeking applications for Computer Systems Analysts and Software Developers (Senior and Journeyman levels) interested in providing technical products and services support for the United States Marine Corps Future Systems and other Future and Fielded Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS). The work is being performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) located in St. Inigoes, MD. Positions are eligible for Telework.
Essential Job Functions:
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
Provides research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Analyzes user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Updates software or enhance existing software capabilities.
May integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements. May also maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS or BA degree major in at least one of the following subjects: Computer Science, Applied Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, or Electronics Engineering plus 8 years of experience is required.
Active Security Clearance.
Journeyman Software Developers.
At least 3 years of experience performing engineering/scientist functions with the Navy or other DoD activities related to ATC&LS.
