What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Account Management is responsible for maintaining/growing current relationships, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, gross profit growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.

Accountabilities

  • Promote the Edgepark solutions and value proposition to the customer base in your territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the marketplace
  • Proactively and with regular cadence demonstrate to the customer the defined value of partnering with Edgepark
  • Call on High and Medium potential accounts on a monthly basis
  • Interact on a daily basis with healthcare professionals and troubleshoot day to day challenges such as supply issues or ordering issues
  • Identify new opportunities in your market and upsell within existing accounts
  • Understand the insurance landscape within your territory and deliver Edgepark as a valued partner
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities and develop plans for introducing new solutions
  • Collaborate with manufacture partners to drive growth
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet predetermined gross margin targets for your region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Min 5+ years' sales experience - healthcare industry preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
  • Proven knowledge in the business area
