Job description
An established and growing business services company in Sacramento is seeking an Accounting Assistant. This Accounting Clerk will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Supporting the Accounts Payable by entering and processing purchase orders and invoices, and preparing check runs
- Assisting with bank statement and vendor statement reconciliations
- Supporting Human Resources and Payroll functions by maintaining up to date personnel information and assist in preparation of payroll
- Supporting Accounts Receivable by posting payments, preparing bank deposits, and filing
- Other duties as assigned

Job requirements
Basic understanding of accounting principles. Good data entry skills, and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
