Ledgent is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. Our clients are seeking individuals with at least 1 year of recent Accounting experience. The Accounting Clerk will be required to provide reliable support to accounting department members, other departments, and external parties. Ledgent offers opportunities on a temporary, temporary to full time, and direct hire basis. We are looking to interview Accounting Clerk candidates immediately in the Orlando area.
Job Duties Include:
Using documents to verify, record, and process transactions.
Maintaining accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to supplies and inventory.
Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.
Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received in a timely manner.
Communicating with clients to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies.
• At least 1 year of experience
• Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
• QuickBooks or ERP experience
• High School or GED equivalent
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• High volume data entry with high accuracy
