We are the largest provider of urgent care services, based on weekly visits, in the metropolitan Philadelphia area. Under general supervision of the billing manager, the Accounts Receivable Representative reviews unpaid, underpaid or inappropriately denied claims and follows up with practice staff, patients and/or insurance carriers to resolve claim processing issues. The AR Rep performs claims analysis and claims research to determine root causes and/or resolution to payment variances and works with insurance carriers and internal staff to resolve chronic issues and develop permanent solutions to persistent problems. May participate in any or all aspects of the accounts receivable functions of the organization including billing, charge entry, collection, follow-up, payment posting and credit balance resolution
High School Diploma or GED required as well as:
Twelve months experience in Medical Billing, Medical Collections, Medical Billing Systems, and General Office or Computer Data Entry.
