Job description
Barnes Aerospace OEM Customer Service Team located in Phoenix, AZ currently has an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic Contracts/Customer Service Representative. As a Contracts/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for the administration of customer contracts, customer issues, customer communications, and customer requests on a daily basis. You will also maintain and ensure the integrity of all customer data in the business systems and provide support to both the internal and external customers of the company. Core Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure all sales data is accurate and complete in order to maintain order, market and backlog reporting integrity including schedule and associated dollars.
  • MUST be Excel and Microsoft Proficient
  • Raise export compliance concerns when required.
  • Serve as central point of contact for customer inquiries. Provide customers with updated order and delivery status.
  • Responsible for inputting and maintaining data in the various business systems, ensuring data is current, accurate and complete.   
  • Responsible for reviewing and disseminating “Terms and Conditions,” special shipping instructions, configuration changes and quality requirements throughout the organization.
  • Prepare and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting data as needed.
  • Control and maintain master contracts / purchase order files.
  • Assist in all other duties under the Contract and Purchasing Manager.


  • Five (5) or more years related industry work experience.
  • Understanding of manufacturing ERP/MRP systems or Syteline a plus.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and problems, escalating when required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proven team-work capabilities.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
