The Cyber and SIGINT Solutions Operation of Leidos has a career opening for an Apprentice Analyst  located in Ft Meade MD.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process  tipper from OSINT, FireEye reports, Crowd Strike reports, and other open  source reporting: analyze reports to find indicators of compromise.  Pivot off IOCs to find additional  information    

• Processing NETCRAFT:  create new tickets for malware discovered; ingest malware from NETCRAFT    

• Perform static analysis of malware  ingested from NETCRAFT: use Strings and FireEye to pull out suspicious  strings in malware    

• Create YARA  rules/Xkeyscore fingerprints to track malware strains    

• Create Tactical Behavioral Analysis  Summary: summary of malware, vulnerability, and mitigations distributed  internally

UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE.

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of related experience.
