Leidos is actively looking for an Assurance Engineer to work with our team in Charleston, SC or Norfolk, VA.
The Assurance Engineer will work in support of a Product Assurance contract with the US Navy Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS-N) project.
The candidate will perform Test and Evaluation activities in support of DCGS-N development efforts. Test and Evaluation responsibilities include, but are not limited to Requirements Analysis, Design Analysis including Request for Change (RFC) Reviews, participation in System and Developer Milestone Reviews, participation in Engineering Review Boards for hardware and software, test execution and development of Test Plans and Test Reports and providing briefings to Customers. The position will also require supporting and participating in regular staff meetings with customers and other SAIC personnel.
Travel is required - Possibly as high as 60% per year.
The position requires the candidate to work well in a team environment with little direction. Professional demeanor and a positive can-do attitude are required to work in this dynamic, progressive, process-oriented team environment.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 4+ years related experience. Exposure to computer-based applications similar to those required for this position. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI clearance
Specific experience with DCGS, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Targeting systems, GCCS-I3, GALE, Common Geo-positioning Services (CGS), SocetGXP, Istore, Image Product Library (IPL) is highly desired. Previous Navy experience working with ISR&T Systems is highly desirable.
