Job Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards
• Disassemble, diagnose and repair vehicle transmission
• Cleaninng and inspection of all parts 
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made

Minimum qualifications to be considered for this aggressive pay scale are the following:

• Must be an ASE Master Certified Technician
• Prior automotive dealership experience (preferably as a transmission repair technician)
• Must be willing to attain within 90 days of employment a State of Michigan automotive technician certification in transmission repair. Other certifications will also be required after the 90 days
• Must possess and demonstrate a good work ethic
• Must be able to provide evidence of exceptional CEI (CSI)scores
• Must be able to work in a busy environment and work independently
