Job description
  • Experience in a sales or business development role supporting Federal departments (DOD, DHS, etc.)
  • Cyber Security product knowledge is a plus.
  • Implements or utilizes strategic plans on a day-to-day basis. Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements.
  • Assist in developing proposal specific pricing strategies.
  • Participate in Industry meetings, customer specific conferences, trade shows, and professional association meetings/briefings.
  • Documents all capture information and reports status of opportunities throughout the Business Development lifecycle in a corporate CRM.
    • Salesforce etc.
  • Prepare cost volume documents in a timely manner. Audit experience.
  • Work closely with multiple groups (Contracts and Procurement, Human Resources, Risk, etc.) to ensure accuracy and coordination of cost proposals and to collect data.
  • Administering high volume transactions, creating a workflow, customer sales call, and some lead generation.
  • Self-driven, enthusiastic, inside sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Education: AA/BA minimum.
