Business Travel/Leisure Sales Experience Preferred

The Business Travel Sales Manager will represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships, maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts while consistently striving to maximize room revenue. Travel to agency locations to conduct presentations, entertain travel managers, travel agents, agency owners, wholesalers, receptive tour operators and motor coach tour operators.
Represent hotel by soliciting, responding to and negotiating Corporate, FIT and Group Tour rates (generally over 100 guest rooms per year) based upon market segment and account. Represent hotel in significant interactions dealing with customers relative to sales and operational questions, concerns, and issues. Negotiate contracts with customers and commission agreements with third party agencies. Establish and maintain constant contact with Hilton Worldwide Sales with regard to corporate and leisure sales.
Engage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers in local and national assigned markets (percentage of travel is approximately 25%). Promote negotiated rates to all corporate and leisure accounts. Conduct site visits for respective accounts, participate in industry related organizations. Host FAM trips when required (up to 4 FAM trips per year)
Work closely with revenue management team with the preparations of proposals and contracts to all prospective customers of the hotel
Travel to agency partner locations to conduct agent presentations and educational one on one visits. Attend or take online required Hilton University classes throughout the year
Attend weekly sales departmental meeting and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, e.g. RFP, RevMax and Hotelligence Meetings.
