Cardiovascular Technologist for Phoenixville Hospital’s EP Lab

Hours:  Full-time, 10 hour days

The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive/Electrophysiology Technologist (RCES/RCIS/RCVAT/RCT/RT) will set up and operate many various types of Electrophysiology equipment to determine the extent of electrical abnormalities and/or illness. The RCES/RCIS/RCVAT/RCT/RT will perform direct patient care in the electrophysiology laboratory. This position requires a working knowledge of device implants (pacemaker, ICD, Sub Q ICD, and Micra pacemakers), loop recorder insertion and removal, Watchman implants, and ablation procedures. The individual, through effective leadership, will maintain an environment of care, which supports and conveys the hospital’s mission and vision to all department members, and integrates this vision of service to encompass all departments within the hospital.



Associate Degree or Diploma in Cardiovascular Science


-Ability to demonstrate initiative, sound decision-making skills and problem solving.

-Knowledge of EP testing procedures

-Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail.

-Knowledge of ECG interpretation.

-Knowledge of using Prucka MacLab/Cardio Lab


-Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCES//RCIS/RCVAT/RCT/RT)

-Current BLS and ACLS certification required
