Responsibilities

Full-time position available for a Tower Health Medical Group family practice office in Lionville for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, alternating Wednesday evenings until 7 pm and the possibility of alternating another evening beginning in November.

  • Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts.
  • Must be willing to be cross-trained on front desk/administrative duties.
  • Must be reliable, dependable and a self-starter.


Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program

Experience: 

Computer knowledge

Time management/organizational skills

Knowledge of EHR

Knowledge of EMR required

Experience with Epic EMR helpful but not required

Licenses/Certificates:

Certified Medical Assistant required

Current American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR is required.
