Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and administering all Nursing management activities of Brandywine Hospital. Ensures high quality care delivery in a cost effective manner. Seeks to improve patient and physician satisfaction scores. Responsible for monitoring regulatory compliance with state, federal and local agencies including the Joint commission and the PA health department. Participate with CEO and other C-Suite members, the Governing Body,  and the medical staff in developing hospital's mission, strategic plans, operational plans and policies. The CNO takes an active leadership role with the hospital's governing body, senior leadership, medical staff, management, and other clinical leaders in the decision making process. Reports to the CEO, Brandywine Hospital.


Education: Graduate of an approved Nursing school. MSN Required.

Experience: Minimum of five years experience with progressive management / leadership responsibilities in an acute health care setting. Must have demonstrated executive  and supervisory abilities and advanced knowledge of general nursing theories and practice. Excellent human relations and oral / written communication skills.

Licenses/Certificates: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Pennsylvania required.
