Job description
Claims Representatives Duties:
  • Process new claims and send processed claims to the appropriate insurance carrier.
  • Review invoice and customer information to identify shipping invoice data and to determine the validity of the claim(s).
  • Verify whether a claim should be filed by comparing customer data to delivery information from the carriers.
  • Monitor and address cargo claims in a timely manner.
  • Maintain all fields of the claim system with the most current information available.
  • Monitor and respond professionally to emails and voicemails.
  • Help resolve problems that arise and bring the issue to a resolution.
  • Build working relationships with customers, carriers, insurance companies, and the office network.
  • Maintain excellent task maintenance to help ensure a proper follow up on each claim.
Pay and Schedule and Perks:
  • $15.50 an hour.
  • 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation/communication skills.
  • Strong detail orientation and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere.
  • Analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills.
  • Effective organization and prioritization skills.
