Daily operations, planning and coordination of patient care within the Surgical Services department. Interfaces with all hospital departments, medical staff and community as a representative of nursing and management. Assures services are provided in compliance with hospital nursing and departmental standards, protocols, policies and procedures. Provides direction to foster a culture of excellence to achieve high quality care and programs in a cost effective manner.
- Certification/Licensure: Current R.N. license in the State of Texas required, CNOR Preferred
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. B.S.N. required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of nursing management in an ASC or Hospital OR setting is preferred. Must possess experience in staffing, scheduling, staff development, personnel management and financial management.
