Compliance Manager – the role:
The Compliance Manager responsible for communicating, driving and proactively monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policy directives and ethical requirements at the laboratories within the region.
Management of compliance related areas including implementation of procedures and processes.
Respond directly to internal/external customers regarding policies and assist them in finding solutions to business problems.
Assist in addressing Legal and Compliance issues in conjunction with Corporate departments.
Assist in the investigation of any reports or evidence of misconduct or non-compliance, and implementation of corrective action including training and retraining.
Manage the Compliance Monitoring Program and assigned audit preparation activities.
Coordinate activities of Compliance staff at the direction of the Regional Compliance Director.
Manage document assembly for third-party reimbursement audits; depositions and lawsuits; subpoena document production.
Actively support the Regional Compliance Director to include the ability to function as a substitute at business partner meetings and to provide guidance on complex issues.
To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Understanding of all federal and state fraud and abuse laws and regulations
Knowledge of sales and billing policies and processes, as well as all other compliance policies
Leadership, multi-tasking, communication and project management skills
Understanding of all aspects of lab operations
B.S. in Medical Technology or Business Administration or comparable experience
