We are seeking a motivated Construction Project Administrator highly effective at finding the best methods possible to complete exceptional construction projects. to oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation and assist project managers/superintendents with all aspects of the projects. Construction Project Administrator Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the construction projects from planning to implementation and assist project management in all areas.
Will oversee joint check agreements
Full support of Project Managers
Assist project management to allocate resources for assigned projects
Calculating the actual costs of working on a construction project.
Support 5-6 cycling projects at a time.
Complete legal contracts and other construction forms
Submittals, RFI, ASI tracking, and filing of project documentation
Implement company project start-up process upon contracting
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to receive reasonable order costs
Communicate regularly with project field management on all aspects of the project.
Construction Project Administrator Qualifications:
Must be familiar with Joint check rules
A minimum of 3-5 years in construction experience in commercial renovation and new construction.
Previous experience in the construction industry or other related fields
Familiarity with construction software such as Timberland Sage, Microsoft Suite, Access
Job cost accounting and strong analytical skills required.
Must have project planning
Must have project deliverables
Must have contract management
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline, detail-oriented, and organized
Reading and interpreting blueprints for large projects
Strong computer skills
