Position Summary

We deliver products and services that create a differentiated experience for customers while relentlessly improving speed, reliability, and cost supporting supply chain optimization. We enable growth through effective and efficient movement of over 40MM shipments for Cardinal Healthcare customers. This includes the flow of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.

Position Expectations

  • Build, enable, and drive multi-year strategy both within the direct scope as well as for the Global Logistics organization
  • Provide leadership and direction throughout the team.
  • Develop and grow a deep talent base
  • Manage financial and performance-based goals including budgets and service level agreement alignment
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and liaise with internal and/or external stakeholders, including senior leaders

Position Accountabilities           

  • Design and optimize inbound logistics flows
  • Assessment of critical logistics capabilities and customer needs
  • Product design and deployment
  • Freight Term conversion and management oversight
  • Backhaul Program development and program management
  • Externalization of logistics services support

Position Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
