Description

This position, under the supervision of the Materials Manager is responsible for charging, requisitioning for trunk stock/bill only supplies, inventory management, and receiving of supplies.

This job is a OPERATING ROOM Supply Coordinator, stocking OR supplies, ordering special items for physician cases. Maintaining financial stewardship of the OR $$, value analysis, locating duplicate supply items and bringing to the attention of the Director, cycle counting,

Physical walking 80%

Stooping, bending over 80%

Lifting over 50lbs



Requirements

 EDUCATION:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent is required. Associates degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or other related field required

 EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year experience in supplies, materials management, and/or purchasing required
  • Knowledge of hospital supplies is preferred
  • Requires proficiency with Meditech system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required
