Job description

The Customer Portal Specialist is responsible for managing UniTek’s Customer Portals to find bids that would be in the appropriate territory, and present to management. The Customer Portal Specialist will have to remain in communication with the customer and management team, in order to ensure that bids are submitted timely. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review appropriate bids in the Customers Portal
  • Identifies, documents, and prioritizes new bids  
  • Be able to decipher if it is a fit for the Company
  • Package up the opportunity present to Management
  • Follow up on any intents to bid by deadlines
  • Builds strong customer relationships.
  • Understands needs of the customer
  • Create and maintain a strategic process for ensuring bids are submitted timely 
  • Prepare routine reports
  • Any duties assigned by supervisor
Job requirements


  • Customer portal management experience such as ACAS/ORCA, PINCS or BID Master is a plus
  • 2+ years’ experience in Telecom construction and High School Diploma
