Desktop Support Tech — Long-Term Contract

This position would cover two sites daily located in Cambridge, MA within 5-minutes walk from each other. There will be other sites located in Boston and Lexington, MA that would be on an as-needed basis.
  • Knowledge of break-fix on laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Exposure to hardware and software in an enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge base to support Windows OS, Mac OS related hardware and software issues
  • Active Directory experience – resetting passwords, adding machines to the domain
  • Experience refreshing / reimaging machines
  • Basic data entry, research, and reporting skills to support various operational deliverables and projects
  • SCCM preferred but not required 
  • A+ Certification preferred but not required
  • Remote control experience (LogMeIn preferred)
  • Ticketing system experience preferred (ServiceNow)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, even under challenging circumstances, with senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to support and work alongside VIPs
  • Enjoys research, reflection, and sharing information innovative solutions and on new technologies that can benefit an unmet business need
  • Displays strong interest in self-improvement, career development, and taking initiative
  • An outgoing and positive attitude
