F/A-18 DevOps Engineer
Seeking an experienced software engineer to join a newly established team focused on centralized software build and developer tool environments. The role involves automating, improving, and maintaining a multi-project software development environment which consists of custom and commercial tools. Candidate will interface with all members of the team to promote a DevOps culture and lead efforts to improve the build and tool infrastructure to maximize software development and release efficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop and maintain code that implements Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) for embedded systems.
Ensure the CI/CD infrastructure performs automated tasks such as, but not limited to, code analysis, compilation, testing, reporting, and packaging, and deployment.
Implement software for quality, robustness, and scale.
Create and maintain automated deployment scripts.
Collaborate with internal software teams for requirements and process improvement.
Participate in a Scrum/Agile development process.
Work independently or with minimal guidance when standing up or maintaining a CI/CD pipeline.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree with at least two years of experience is required.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance for the duration of employment.
Two years of DevOps experience required.
One year of Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipeline experience required.
Experience developing CI/CD for WindRiver VxWorks or GreenHills Integrity targets a plus.
