The Director, Health Care Professional (HCP) Customer Marketing will be the primary marketing lead for OBGYN call points, working closely with the Women’s Health Clinical Franchise (CF). S/He will Lead marketing efforts for the OBGYN customer channel, including development of marketing strategies and annual plan, incorporating insights from Executive/Senior Director, Customer Marketing, Business Leaders, Clinical Franchises and Regions.
The Director will develop marketing insights and strategic marketing plans to fulfill catefory priorities; drive execution through collaboration with Customer and Regional teams; liaise with Specialty Sales and participate in Sales Training.
Other Responsibilities include:
Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness of Quest Diagnostics based on deep understanding of customer channel
Advise Regional Customer Leads on promotional strategies and tactics
Maintain strong level of insight into the customer’s core business drivers
Distill customer data and analytics into highly effective campaigns and other deliverables
Provide voice of customer into the strategic planning process
Have clear understanding of customer industry trends and drivers, as well as competitive landscape, to inform strategic marketing initiatives across target customer segments
Develop and implement customer-specific strategic marketing plan including tactical programming recommendations and investment requirements to maximize opportunities that yield measurable ROI
Supervise and/or mentor team members and provide guidance and serve as thought leader for internal business partners
Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
Plan and execute campaigns related to new and existing products and solutions for target customer channel
Direct market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements
Control budgets and allocate resources across projects
Bachelor’s Degree required; Business degree preferred
5+ years healthcare industry experience preferred; Minimum 10+ years success in a marketing role
Direct people leadership experience preferred
Up to 50% business travel required
Team oriented – ability to lead diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment
Excellent project leadership skills to ensure execution
Superior communication skills including ability to deliver formal business presentations to executive leadership
Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions
Superior strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize market/customer insights into prioritized marketing opportunities; Strong capabilities in analyzing data to demonstrate quantifiable opportunities or results
Superior marketing capabilities to design marketing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities
