Description
The Director of Education Services is a leadership position that is responsible for planning, implementation and oversight of educational programs throughout the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. The Director is responsible to lead the planning and development of education programs, implementation of shared governance, and the professional practice model. The Director is responsible for supporting the system's talent management program by assessing, developing, coordinating and presenting curriculum; both formal and informal presentations.

Requirements
  • BSN, TX RN License required
  • MSN or Master's Degree in related field required; Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
  • Professional certification in a nursing specialty, leadership or education preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in education or leadership in a large organization
  • Experience as a Manager or Director in similar healthcare organization preferred
  • Experience with American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet® or Pathway to Excellence® organization
  • Proficient in use of computer software, Microsoft office, webcasting and video conferencing
  • Knowledge of use of EPIC and HealthStream (or similar learning management system) preferred
  • Highly proficient in: public speaking, facilitation skills, management, organizational development, and performance consulting
  • Proven ability to set goals and orchestrate among team members, a natural drive to be of service to others, and a proven ability to build a team with mutual respect of one another
  • Other critical skills: Highly visionary, action-oriented, enthusiastic, and collaborative
