Job description
SUMMARY

Assists project manager by preparing, auditing, examining andperforming inspection of Electrical &Instrumentation Installation andprocedures. 

  REPORTING LINE
  • Directly reports to Supply Chain General Manager
  • Dotted reporting line to the N/A quality auditing.
  • Provides technical assistance to project management inselecting optimum construction procedures and/or techniques to meet project specifications.
  • Delivers technical assistance to project management regardingthe selection of tools, instruments, and test equipment to implement orremove in the project quality control.
  • Arrange and Conduct drawing audits on field drawings to ensurethat the drawings being used are the most current revision.
  • Enhances quality performance and exceeds expectations across theproject through audits and surveillance.
  • Coordinates examination, inspection, and test plans with projectmanagement and client representative.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required:
  • Certificationas an Inspector
  • Minimum20 years of experience (Quality Assurance / Quality Control in testing, installationof electrical and instrumentation equipment)
Preferred:
  • Associatein Quality Assurance / Quality Control Testing.
  LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
  • NCCERAccreditation in technical electrical or instrumentation
  • TWICCard Required
  KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
  • LanguageSkills: English Advanced
  • MathematicalSkills: Advanced/Highest level of knowledge required
  • ReasoningSkills/Abilities: Advanced level required
  • ComputerSkills: Provide details, designate a level of expertise required/preferred.
  • Strongrecognition of industry codes and standards related to Electrical and Instrumentationinstallation and testing
  • Able touse Microsoft Office to prepare reports and document procedures
