Provide performance analysis for EA-18G and F-18E/F aircraft weapons, sensors, avionics and mission systems, including electronic warfare receivers, jammers, data links and multiple-source integration algorithms. Primary subsystem forcognizance and analysis will be Next Gen Jammer (NGJ) ALQ-249.
Essential Job Functions:
Review subsystem requirements, functionality and test documents and provide recommendations.
Attend flight briefs, as needed.
Observe flights to direct collection of telemetry data, as needed.
Process flight data and present various measures of performance.
Work with external organizations to reconcile discrepancies in performance results.
Investigate problems reported from ground tests, lab tests and flight tests, and as indicated by the measures of performance.
Recommend solutions to the manufacturer.
Review results of ground, lab and flight tests to confirm that the delivered fixes work correctly.
Become familiar with Advanced Weapons Laboratory processes and maintain pertinent analysis processes.
Participate in weekly status meetings, teleconferences and change review boards, as needed.
Travel occasionally to include working with partner Analyst at Pax River and Point Mugu.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, preferably in the SIGINT discipline. Candidates with Associates degree plus 7 years of experience will also be considered or a High School Diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Advanced Engineering, Math or Science degree.
Expert in Excel, Access, Matlab and C#.
