This position supports the product development process through the technical support of electrical / electronic or mechanical systems associated with test rigs for the Product Validation department.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Maintain calibration and/or preventive maintenance electronic systems, ensuring tasks are completed on time
  • Perform and document maintenance/calibration tasks
  • Support test engineers and technicians with technical support to resolve rig issues
  • Perform mechanical or electrical repairs and builds
  • Create technical documentation for calibration/maintenance instructions and reports 
Job requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
  • Minimum High School Diploma and 3 years experience as an automotive related technician or Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Technology, or similar degree
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation software and/or control systems
  • Technical background in test rigs and equipment
  • Technical background with the requirements and execution of equipment maintenance/ calibration
  • Ability to comprehend mechanical drawings or electrical schematics
