Enterprise Project Manager opening in Peabody, MA!

Immediate interview 

Location: Peabody, Ma

Hours: Mon-Friday 9 AM-5:00 PM 

Base Salary: $90,000

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide project management organization-wide through in-depth review, planning, and facilitation of departmental

and cross-departmental projects and process improvement initiatives by ascertaining best practices and

implementing suggested improvements. Responsible for a diverse scope and range of projects for the bank.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Ensures a uniform and standard project management methodology and guidance for the bank

▪ Creates and continually updates standard documentation templates to be used throughout all steps of the

project lifecycle

▪ Manages, coordinates and oversees all aspects of designated projects within established time frames and

budget.

▪ Develop and maintain key project activities including defining project scope, creating and maintaining

project plans, facilitating team meetings, generating status reporting, milestone and task tracking

▪ Creating and successfully managing cross-functional teams throughout the organization

▪ Serve as resource to managers, providing guidance and direction by assisting with process for department

projects

▪ Act as a training resource on all projects including process and quality improvement

▪ Add and/or improve standardization of duties for project teams

▪ Confer with management and provides advice on potential impacts of the project on areas including customer

service, Human Resources, Information Technology and others

▪ Interacts with executive and management teams, internal customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure

effective project execution

▪ Communicate with key stakeholders and senior management to ensure all expectations are established and

successfully met throughout the project

▪ Acts as a liaison between IT and Operations and various divisions throughout the bank

▪ Assist in the development and managing of the project management annual budget

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES, if any: Direct Supervision for any employees added to the Office of

Project Management, as well as supervise project leaders during project process.

 

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):

▪ BS/BA in Business, Project Management or related field preferred

▪ Minimum of five years of experience in project management; or

▪ An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential

functions of the job

▪ Project Management Professional or other Project Management Certification preferred

▪ Understanding and working knowledge of bank operations and business practices

▪ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

▪ Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously

▪ Strong Windows PC skills including Microsoft Office software

▪ Display professional behavior, attitude and appearance

▪ Sense of urgency and self-motivation, ability to work independently

▪ Effective at building relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers

▪ Projects a positive image for the Bank
