Summary: Working under the direction of the maintenance leader is responsible for building repairs and maintenance work at farm sites.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for maintenance and repairs as requested by production and directed by the maintenance leader including:
•Scheduling work with the applicable farm leader including arranging for help from a farm employee if needed.
•Minimizing driving time by assuring appropriate supplies for each job are stocked on the service truck.
•Completing work in a timely manner and submitting a final report on the work order to the maintenance leader.
2.Responsible for preventative maintenance as scheduled by the maintenance leader.
3.Responsible for being in compliance with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy Brown subscribes. Report all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
4.Read and understand the company’s emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their worksite.
5.Ensures the farm working environment is safe, by ensuring use of proper safety equipment, and taking action to prevent hazardous conditions and meet Department of Labor OSHA requirements. Utilizing and working with the Injury Prevention System (IPS).
6.All other duties as assigned.
