Specifically TheseResponsibilities Are To:
Conduct Field Evaluations in accordance with SGS CRS US programrequirements.
Deliverwell-written field evaluation report along with required documentation withindefined time frame.
Effectively communicate field evaluation report results with customers.
- Review customer responses to non-compliance letter reports, as needed.
Review pre-evaluationdocuments to understand objectives of assignment prior to start of service.
Effectively schedule and execute assigned evaluation to minimize traveltime and expenses.
Provide travel andexpense cost estimates as requested.
Execute field inspectionwithin in assigned time frame and cost estimate.
Submit finaltravel and expense costs in a timely manner.
Execute all workwith a professional manner aligned with the SGS Integrity Policy.
Profile ofthe position (Requirements & Qualifications):
Knowledge of FieldEvaluation Body (FEB) Requirements NFPA 790 and NFPA 791.
Experience with product safety standards and NationalElectrical Code
- Experience operating test equipment
Experience working with certification agencies and test datapreparation and submittal.
Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.
Understanding offactory/warehouse/dock safety rules and procedures.
Passport for internationaltravel may be required.
Frequent overnighttravel required.
- Requires 75% travel. Education:
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or suitablework experience
Technical degree or equivalenttraining
Must be motivated self starter capable of working withminimal supervision
Ability toread/interpret technical documents and work instructions.
Ability to writeroutine reports related to field evaluation services.
Ability to speakeffectively with clients
Proficient inMicrosoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook a must
