Target and secure profitable new business through inbound sales leads and targeted prospecting/cold calling. Represent Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions suite of products and services in presentations to Companies of all size and type including Fortune 1000 companies, Small to Medium Size Businesses, Occupational Medicine Strategic re-sellers, Employee Screening and/or Laboratory service providers.
The territory encompasses - KS, MO, IL, NE, IA, WI, MN, ND, SD
Responsible for generating revenue and market share growth with the
Employer Solutions products and services to meet and exceed organizational targets for product growth.
Responsible for presenting to all key decision makers and end-users,
including CFO, COO, Medical organization, VP and Directors of Human Resources, Procurement, Safety, etc.
Demonstrated ability to successfully convert cold calls/leads/referrals into profitable, client relationships.
Arrange and make formal selling presentations to prospective customers, primarily in a corporate office based setting within an assigned sales area.
Educate new customers on all Quest Diagnostics’ processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
Attain comprehensive knowledge of customer needs and organizational structure; build relationships with key contacts and high-level economic buyers.
Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace impacting customers. Maintain a working knowledge of company products and those of competitors and share this information with sales leadership.
Work collaboratively with regional and global counterparts on national/global customers.
Ensures compliance with all company policy and government regulations.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.
Incumbent should possess the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or business related field or Equivalent Experience as outlined below.
Minimum of 5-7 years B2B sales experience with record of dynamic impact required.
Prefer 5+ years sales experience in the Business marketplace.
Proven ability to sell in a dynamic, competitive environment, applying the principles of consultative selling to executive level buyers.
Occasional travel to a prospective customer location may be required in order to advance or close a sale.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Access) and CRM Software is important.
Strong skills needed in problem solving, attention to detail, financial and operational analysis and process review.
Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication. Strong negotiation skills and business acumen. Will have taken or will take specialized training in negotiating skills.
