We?re looking for a talented front-end specialist, skilled collaborator and visual-minded developer to join our Chicago Sogeti/Capgemini team! We need a Senior UI Developer able to work within and improve upon an established UI design system through close collaboration with the Principal UI Developer as well as cross function teams (Product, UX, Development, QA, and others).

Minimum education qualification

  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ? 7+ years of front-end / UI development experience

    ? Experience with complex responsive web interfaces, forms, and data visualizations

    ? Strong JavaScript skills; and the ability to understand, learn, and work with frameworks in the JavaScript ecosystem such as Angular, React, and Vue.

    ? Strong knowledge of GIT and/or SVN source control; experience with Gulp/Grunt

    ? Strong knowledge of responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap; awareness of emerging standards like CSS Grid

    ? Knowledge of modern CSS approaches and preprocessors such as LESS, Sass, and Stylus

    ? Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and semantic markup

    ? Experience with agile/scrum development process and SDLC

    ? Experience in coding and iterating HTML/CSS for interactive prototypes

    ? Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing Front End ecosystems.

    ? Knowledge of KendoUI a plus.

    ? Knowledge of web performance optimization engineering best practices and techniques

    ? Present work examples of front-end implementations that demonstrate attention to details and fit/finish
