The Guest Services Assistant, GSA, is responsible for making patients and their families feel welcome and well informed about their hosptal visit. The GSA serves under limited supervision as a liaison between patients, families, the Department, and the Hospital in order to address the non-medical problems, immediate
concerns and customer’s needs. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide supportive care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Age groups served may include infants through geriatric, but will vary depending on specific assignment.
