Job description
The inventory Control Clerk ensures accurate and timely processing of daily material transactions in and out of the Parts Room. This position requires basic math and problem solving skills. Must perform cycle counts, reconcile inventories, analyzing discrepancies and communicate to management corrective actions as necessary. The use
of a computer is required to be successful in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  1. Perform inventory count and cycle counting in both the upstairs and downstairs location.
  2. Reconcile Inventory with accuracy.
  3. Analyze discrepancies and communicate to management any needed corrective action.
  4. Consistent and punctual attendance is required.
  5. Keeps inventory in an organized fashion.
  6. Communicate with Shipping/Receiving on completed orders.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. 1-2 year's recent experience in Inventory Control.
  2. Familiar with cycle count.
  3. Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) and FAB.
  4. Comfortable using a computer, Microsoft Office and manufacturing software programs.
  5. Flexible, friendly and helpful disposition.
  6. Strong work ethic and reliable transportation required.
  7. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time while standing.
  2. Physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand various activities such as frequent walking,
  3. standing, bending, and maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard.
  4. Pushing, Pulling over 25 lbs.
  5. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  6. Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
  7. Strong attention to detail.
  8. Willingness to learn.
  9. Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills, and basic math skills.
  10. Excellent customer service skills.
  11. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
