To uphold safety for all employees, we will continue to request vaccination status for all DCS employees, including new hires. All current and newly hired employees who are unvaccinated will be required to adhere to safety protocols applicable to their worksite.

Provide IT customer support services to the JSSA AV-8B and T-45 programs.

Essential Job Function: 

Provide complete customer desktop support including setup, arrangement, application maintenance and upgrades.

Provide support for hardware and software installations, maintenance, and security for Microsoft Windows servers.

Ability to troubleshoot; computer hardware issues, Windows operating system problems, application and network connectivity issues.

Configure and manage Domain controllers, manage OU architecture, and configure group policy objects (GPO).

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while multitasking.

DBMS administration: specifically (MSSQL 2012/2014, Oracle) and Oracle Weblogic experience, including the following database applications: Dimensions CM (Serena), IBM Rational DOORS, Boeing’s IDT, Deltek Cobra.

Assist with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and patching.

Patch systems in accordance with DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM).

Provide regular antivirus support.

Maintain the labs security posture by working directly with the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to resolve security issues.

Apply and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on a quarterly basis for Zone B, Zone C, and Zone D boundaries.

Scan systems for STIG compliance using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning utility.

Routinely monitor event logs and perform security checks.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have an Associate degree plus 7 years of IT experience. Will also consider a Bachelor degree with 5 years of IT experience or high school diploma with 13 years of IT experience.

Three years of Windows 10 OS experience.

Three years of Windows Server experience.

One year of DoD STIG and hardening experience.

Must be able to obtain a security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.

Hands-On Experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems.

Server back-up applications, RAID systems.

Must have a CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Operating System certification.

Familiar with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements for operating on a DOD network.

Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) certification will be required in 3-6 months of hire date.
