We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with stellar communication skills to become part of a solid and successful team already in place. This is a part-time position at 20-25 hours per week.
Reports to Laboratory Manager

Sample preparation; air, water, bulk and dust samples
Maintain and update routine records and logs
Assist with general laboratory maintenance
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Coursework in geology or other physical science
Candidate should be detail oriented, organized and able to work with a minimum of supervision
Great communication skills - both verbal and written are ideal
Experience with a microscope a plus!
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Ability to comply with existing processes and adapt to new processes and/ or changes within the organization
Team player with positive, respectful attitude
