Position Description:
The Business Analyst role works closely with executive leadership to identify, plan, develop, and execute information system solutions that align with various business initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting non-financial planning and reporting needs across the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support planning and reporting, growth strategy, problem-solving and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Identify, plan and develop reporting and other tools to serve the business’ needs using IT systems across all the sites, including Navision and Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SQL databases, etc.

Drive impact and sustainability in data management and business operations support. Collaborate and coordinate efforts across departments as needed.

Utilize continuous improvement in designing, developing, and implanting metrics and analytics to automate data gathering.

Collaborate with various partners to identify, assess, document, review, and continuously improve raw data and reporting.

Maintain an interface with all levels of management. Participate in the identification, investigation, and analysis of potential gaps in technological capabilities, and provide economical solutions.

Other projects and duties as assigned.

Job requirements
Position Requirements:
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5-7 years’ related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in SQL and ISO required, experience with Oracle and Navision ERP, JetReports and Microsoft CRM a plus.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and technology required.

Must possess strong technical skills; considerable knowledge of standard operational best practices.

Demonstrated strong analytical skills and detail oriented

Advanced MS Office skills required

Knowledge and understanding of business drivers & strategies required

Must have the capacity to balance both short and long-term issues effectively and handle many simultaneous priorities

Must be a self-starter who works well with others, is able to prioritize, complete, and follow up on projects and tasks.

Additional Characteristics:

Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Ability to relate, communicate, and collaborate effectively up, down, and across the organization

Ability to simplify complex IT information and design clear, value-focused messages to a variety of audiences
