Our Corporate Solutions Group is currently seeking a seeking a Lease Administration Analyst to supports a diverse set of client needs from basic management of lease abstractions and critical dates to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits You will work closely to provide comprehensive knowledge and access to data across the portfolio that enables our clients to make strategic real estate decisions that support and enhance their core business.
What does this job involve?
Having the know-how
You’ll need to have a great knowledge in Corporate Real Estate. In this role, you will abstracting and interpreting commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases). You will be working on data entry, validation and management of lease, reviewing annual landlord reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations as well as doing rent variance analysis and rent payment processing. Lastly, you will be charged with reviewing CAM and other escalations & real estate tax invoices documents
Being a trailblazer and breaking new ground
To be successful in this role, you should be a confident professional with broad skills in analyzing and solving complex business problems, writing and presenting, and interpret complex commercial lease language. This includes ensuring rent variance analysis and rent payment processing and lease compliance is accurate. This position will be reviewing annual landlord reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations to ensure accuracy and lease compliance as well as tracking and maintaining critical lease dates. Most importantly, you will be responsible for client-vendor-landlord relationship management and resolution of rent and other landlord/tenant issues.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; also along 1- 2 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate environment specifically in finance, accounting, lease administration, or property management. Prior experience in lease administration, real estate accounting or property management with exposure to commercial leases and expertise in understanding and interpreting complex commercial lease language in highly valued.
Dynamic and Highly Skilled
You’ll need to be dynamic and technologically savvy in order to support the business. You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, and cell calculations). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to consolidate data into Power Point for presentations to client and lines of business is highly valued. You’ll be effective in you role by learning to ask the right questions to understand the underlying needs of our clients. You’ll discover how to be proactive and innovative with solutions your stakeholders.
Organized, Open and Flexible
Excellent communication skills are important – both written and spoken – and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines. You keep on top of things as you’ll often need to reorganize your time day to day, to deal with your team’s changing necessities and requests. An individual with strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all level external and internal clients will successful in the role.
