Established San Diego law firm seeks talented litigation legal secretary to join its teamLegal Secretary must have at least 3 years of litigation legal secretary experience.  This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a full benefits package and competitive salary!

Litigation Legal Secretary responsibilities include:
  • Preparing, revising, and formatting legal documents
  • Managing the calendar for all the attorneys
  • Knowledge of state and federal court deadlines
  • State and federal court filings
  • Trial Preparation
  • TOA/TOC
  • Assist with attorney time entry
  • Preparing expense reports
  • Travel arrangements

Additional requirements of the Legal Secretary role include:
  • 3+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary/administrative assistant
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to calendar manually and look up codes
  • Experience with iManage and Westlaw is a huge plus
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of e-filing is a must
  • Strong knowledge of filing deadlines
