Job description
Prominent boutique law firm in Downtown Los Angeles has an immediate need for a skilled Litigation Secretary to join their growing team. This is a newly created position to support the growing practice and requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • E-filing with state and federal courts 
  • Drafting and proofreading pleadings, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, etc. 
  • Generating and editing TOCs & TOAs
  • Calendaring deadlines 
  • Deposition and trial prep
Required Knowledge & Experience:
  • 5 - 8+ years of litigation experience; Business litigation and/or general civil litigation experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Macros and iManage
  • Knowledge of court rules and civil procedures at the state and federal levels; appellate experience is a plus 
  • Diligent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
Position will be working from home for the time being but requires candidates live locally as it will eventually work on-site once it is safe to reopen the physical office.
