The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Hackettstown, New Jersey. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for modifying, reworking or fabricating production parts as required. Assist in the fabrication of jigs and fixtures required for manufacturing.



Your responsibilities

  • Set up and use lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, saws and drill press.
  • Use all measuring tools applicable to machining (micrometer, Vernier, and indicator.).
  • Read blueprints and work from product drawings.



Your background

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience working in a machine shop environment
  • Knowledgeable in the fabrication, processes and operation of machine shop equipment
  • CNC Lathe/Milling experience a plus
  • TIG welding experience is a plus
  • Dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
