The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the production equipment in the facility. Mechanic would be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment to meet production and quality and customer expectations.
-Troubleshoots motor control circuits, drives and PLC systems
-Performs routine PM's, repairs, rebuilds and modifies equipment assigned and to include electrically controlled equipment
-Completes necessary paperwork
-Performs upgrades and/or changes to equipment if needed
-Suggest ways to make production more efficient
-Maintains a high level of safety awareness and reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions
-Follow co. policies and procedures as well as GMP's
-Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups
-Prior experience working in Manufacturing, food processing and food grade processing, bagging and packaging equipment.
-Min. 2 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferably food
-Ability to work overtime
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, fractions and decimals
-Ability to stand duration of shift
-TIG Welding experience preferred
$24.00 - $27.00 depending on the experience.
Shift 1st 5am-2pm Mon-Fri
Shift 2nd 2pm-11pm Mon-
