Maintenance Tech – Moorestown
12 hour shifts, 7am to 7pm OR 7pm to 7am, 3 days on then 4 days off, then 4 days off, 3 days on following week
Work every other weekend
Meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost and customer care
Work on equipment improvements, projects and PM’s to ensure equipment is running efficiently
Provide technical support for troubleshooting / problem solving activities and repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
Maintain and repair all mechanical breakdowns, which includes pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, presses, packaging equipment, gears, and sprockets.
Work with Maintenance Electricians to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns
Need experience with production machinery
5+ years of maintenance manufacturing experience. Prefer experience from one of these industries: Food, printing, packaging, automotive or similar industry but open to any industry as long as its manufacturing
Associates Degree or other technical certification or an equivalent combination of training and maintenance experience
Mechanically inclined and enjoy fixing and solving problems. Able to fabricate and machine new parts
Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, pumps, valves, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, pulleys, gearboxes and conveyors. Able to learn complex equipment
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
Experience with, welding, pipefitting, boilers or HVAC is a plus
Self-motivated, positive attitude, energetic, punctual, hard-working, and eager to work for a stable organization
Some overtime/weekend work might be required.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and comfortable using ladders.
