Your Opportunity

The Battery Technician is responsible for maintaining and changing the batteries used in warehouse equipment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Complete battery charger repairs, battery changes for MHE, repair of plugs and tips of batteries and chargers, watering and washing batteries, acid spill clean up
  • Ensure that there is a full stock of charged batteries to be used for battery changes
  • Required to interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
  • Will also perform light maintenance within the distribution center as directed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree required
  • At least one year of related experience is required; this experience could also have been gained from a related training program
  • Experience with Raymond MHE preferred
  • Experience logging work orders and PMs into computerized tracking systems preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

You will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. You will regularly be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 lbs. to 60 lbs.
