Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.


What will I be doing?

As the Manager Financial Systems, you will be reporting to the Senior Director of Master Data Governance. In this role, you will be the system administrator of two applications, BlackLine and SAP Concur Expense.


As the Manager, Financial System, you will be responsible for supporting the integrity of the financial related master data which includes maintaining and supporting various financial applications, such as BlackLine, and SAP Concur Expense. In support of these financial applications, you will be the lead system administrator, as well as, lead in implementing improvements and improving any related processes. You will also assist in supporting any data integrations and validation processes, work directly with all reporting segments and the Master Data Governance Team.


You will work directly with all internal groups who utilize the BlackLine and SAP Concur Expense application to gather ongoing requirements for end-user improvements and changes. You will lead in building, maintaining and updating within the application while performing training and end-user education of the system functionality as needed.


More specifically, you will:
BlackLine application:
  • Maintain SOX IT compliance by executing system access controls according to the SOP and performing security access reviews and providing evidence to internal audit on a quarterly basis.
  • Act as 3rd level user support to assist the shared service center and local administrators of BlackLine.
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues related to access or system functionality.
  • Lead and support all project and enhancements related to the BlackLine application.
  • Lead any testing due to enhancements or application releases.
  • Lead in supporting nightly job error handling and resolve according to standards developed.
  • Assist in maintaining up to date training and application documentation.
Concur application:
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues related to access or system functionality.
  • Lead all project and improvements related to the SAP Concur application.
  • Lead any testing due to improvements or application releases.
  • Maintain up to date training and application documentation.

  • Ability to troubleshoot System problems and resolve user issues
  • Work closely with the BlackLine or Hilton IT support team related to system issues
  • Configure or modify System Admin task lists
  • Change Calendars in system based on financial close cycle
  • Assign security roles and task access
  • Create and import tasks and task types
  • Define periods, years and custom attributes
  • Raise, Follow-up, and resolve service support tickets

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Three (3) years of BlackLine experience
  • One (1) year of management experience

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS Master's Degree - Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
  • Seven (7) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of BlackLine experience
  • Knowledge/experience of SAP Concur Expense module
  • Knowledge/experience of PeopleSoft 9.2v
